Aamsco Lighting has been one of the most popular providers of innovative lighting solutions since 1975, though our solutions wouldn't be possible without Thomas Edison. An American inventor and businessman, Thomas Edison is most known for creating the electric light bulb. Though there were others before him who successfully created a light bulb, Edison's version succeeded because of his effective incandescent material and the high vacuum he created.

To commemorate his accomplishments, Aamsco has created the Ferrowatt Thomas Edison light bulb. Today, Ferrowatt creates authentic reproduction electric lamps.

History, Recreated

The Thomas Edison light bulb is full of historic character. Its carbon filaments are intertwined to create a unique light displacement similar to one that an Edison light bulb would have created. In addition, its glass shape is reminiscent of the hand-blown style of earlier light bulbs and it provides a soft, amber glow that adds charm and a touch of romance to any room.

In some settings, a traditional incandescent light bulb can add too much light or can compromise the color tone of the atmosphere. A Thomas Edison light bulb, however, is ideal for any low-key setting that requires a cozier ambiance, such as a restaurant or museum, and gives off a gentle illumination that compliments almost any color scheme.
